Trump walks to West Palm golf course after Biden punches him

Former President Trump hit the links at his West Palm Beach golf course on Friday, days after he announced his hole-in-one via email and as President Biden hit him out being ‘reckless’ ‘ with spending and creating ‘record budget deficits’. ‘

The ex-president, in photos obtained by DailyMail.com, sported his trademark ‘Make America Great Again’ cap, a white polo shirt and dark trousers – and played golf with at least two partners.

Meanwhile, President Biden brushed off Trump during his remarks on the latest jobs numbers. ‘It’s the previous administration whose reckless policies and mismanagement led to record budget deficits in my administration, which gets the deficit under control,’ he said, referring to 2020 when the Trump administration signed to record relief spending for the coronavirus pandemic.

Biden also touted his recently released $6 trillion budget plan, which raises taxes by $2.5 trillion and he says will cut the deficit by $1 trillion over the next decade.

“Under my predecessor, the federal budget deficit grew every year, every year. As I signed up when I was racing and got here, I said we were going to change that.

Biden’s $6 trillion budget aims to cut the deficit by $1.3 trillion next year. It includes $2.5 trillion in new taxes.

Much of the deficit reduction will be due to coronavirus relief programs that were already set to expire. The federal government has authorized about $6 trillion in COVID-19 relief spending, most of which has been added to the debt.

According to data from the Federal Reserve, the national debt grew by nearly $7.8 trillion during Trump’s tenure.

Earlier this week, Trump released a statement confirming he had nailed a hole-in-one because “a lot of people are asking,” he said.

“Trump just punched a hole in one!” wrote Tim Swain in a simpering tweet on Tuesday with a photo showing Trump holding the winning ball in the air with Hall of Fame golfer Ernie Els, Gene Sauers, Ken Duke and Mike Goodes.

Swain is a Republican running for a Senate seat in South Carolina.

On Monday, Trump, who is banned from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, posted a statement and a video on his own website, defending his alleged achievement.

“A lot of people ask, so I’m going to give it to you now, it’s 100% true,” Trump said.

“Playing with legendary golfer, Ernie Els, winner of four Majors and around 72 other tournaments around the world, Gene Sauers, winner of the US Open senior, Ken Duke, and Mike Goodes, both excellent players in the circuit, I made a hole -in one.

“It took place at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida on the 7th hole, which was playing 181 yards in a light wind. I hit a 5 iron, which sailed beautifully in fairly strong wind, with about 5 feet of cut, after which it bounced twice and then went rattling, into the hole,' Trump said in a statement.

“These great players on the tour noticed it before me because their eyes are slightly better, but on this one hole only, their swings weren’t. Anyway, there’s a lot of discussion about it, quite exciting, and people everywhere seem to be asking for the facts,” he said.

In the video, Trump can be seen walking to the hole on a bright spring afternoon.

‘It’s here!’ he says before bending down to pick it up. ‘It’s awesome!’ he comments before clapping the hands of the other players who were with him on the field.

The group then posed for a photo which was posted by Swaine on Twitter.

Would-be GOP lawmakers have been known to woo the former president for his endorsement, with some questioning whether Swain was lying to try to get into Trump’s good books.
