Heidi Alagha tries her hand at maintaining the Dorado Golf Course

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — I’m launching a new series called “Hiring Heidi.” I’m going to spend a day trying my hand at jobs I’ve never done and in the end employers will decide if I get hired or fired.

In the first episode, I decided to try my hand at golf course maintenance at the Dorado Golf Course.

If you’ve ever played golf, you know mowing is a daily chore because the grass is always perfect. But I had a rough start.

Once I understood the machine, I was on the move. My lines weren’t the straightest, but at least the grass was cut.

My next task was to dig a new hole on the course, and that took a lot of strength. I filled in the old hole and installed the new one. After that I had to seal the old one.

Mission accomplished, but I don’t think I could have done 17 more.

The trolleys do not clean themselves: they are washed and prepared every day. I wet the seats and the camera too, but overall it wasn’t too bad.

Once all the tasks were done, I had to try playing golf. Not a perfect effort, but I put the ball where it needed to go.

In the end, Dorado Golf Course gave me good news! They would hire me!

If you would like me to come and work for you, send an e-mail [email protected] and tell me about work.
